These settings are for the areas in India being: APN for Aircel -TamilNadu, Karnataka, New Delhi, NCR, Andhara Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Jharkand, Chennai, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Kerala, Kolkatta, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mumbai, North East, Orissa, Punjab. For the Aircel APN for 2G/3G/GPRS, the operator should be set to ‘AIRCEL’. The APN for prepaid should be ‘aircelgprs.pr’, and for postpaid, it should be ‘aircelgprs.po’. The Access Number should be ‘99**1#’. Both the username and password fields should be left blank. The Authentication Type should be set to ‘normal’.
Proxy should be enabled, with the Proxy address set to ‘192.168.035.201’ and the Port set to ‘8081’. The Data Bearer should be set to ‘PACKET DATA’.
