Nokia Lumia 710 Manual

The Nokia Lumia 710 is a budget mobile phone brought out by Nokia in late 2011. The phone may be dated but it is a very good phone and still rivals the newer mobile phones on the market such as the Nokia Asher 210 in terms of features and looks. Looking at the specs they made this for the Canadian market.

The mobile phone comes with a standard GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 frequency range. It also comes with 3G network support such as HSDPA 900, 1900, 2100 – RM-803 and the Canadian market version being the HSDPA 850, 900, 1700, 1900 and 2100 frequency for the Canadian market..

Nokia Lumia 710 Released in 2011 it comes with a TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. The screen is large at 480 x 800 pixels and much larger than the Nokia Asha 210 as it has no physical keyboard. Even for a budget phone it comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass covering to protect the screen from scratch marks. Much like the Nokia Lumia 1020 it also comes with the Nokia ClearBlack display.

There is no cardslot for additional memory in this phone however it does come with the usual vibration, MP3 and WAV ringtones. It also sports a large 8 GB storage and 512 MB RAM hence you can assume they did not add on the additional microSD cardslot. The Nokia Lumia 710 also comes with GPRS Class 33, EDGE Class 33 and a network speed of HSDPA 14.4 Mbps and also HSUPA 5.76 Mbps. There is also Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Yes there is also v2.1 Bluetooth with A2DP, EDR.

The camera is very good even 2 years after its release this being a 5 MegaPixel at 2592х1944 pixels with autofocus and an LED flash. It comes with geotagging and runs video at a very descent 720p@30fps.

Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is the OS for the Lumia 710 and uses a Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset and a 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor. The GPU two years ago being a Adreno 205 was top-end.

The phone also has a accelerometer, proximity and compass sensor and can surf the internet in WAP and HTML5. There is an FM radio and A-GPS abilities. With a standby time of 2 weeks and talktime of about 6 hours and music playback at 38 hours the phone is still top of the line even today!
