If you are looking for a good phone much like the Nokia 830 with all the high-end options but do not need a really high-end camera, then the Nokia 735 is just for you. The specs on the phone is very good and clearly it was designed by Nokia to be another option for the Nokia 830 phone for those who are not too big into multi-media. The camera on the phone is not low-end either.
In fact it is one of the best camera’s on the market except that it has ‘only’ a 6.7 MegaPixel camera with very high frame rates like the 830. That’s about the main difference between the phones other than smaller changes such as the screen types.
The Lumia 735 covers all the mobile-phone networks. These are 2G – GSM 850/900/1800/1900 as well as the 3G – HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 as well as the 4G – LTE 800/1800/2600 mobile phone networks. Note the Nokia 830 comes with a IPS LCD capacitive screen. Note that the Nokia 735 is a multitouch screen which has a protective covering of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
There is a loudspeaker as well as a jack however there is no Dolby Sound on this system like there is on the Lumia 830. There is also ringtone options such as Vibration; MP3 and WAV ringtones as well as a memory slot for microSD with up to 128 GB in storage capacity. There is also internal memory being 8 GB storage as well as 1 GB RAM. There is GPRS as well as EDGE up to 296 kbps, HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA with hotspot. There are 2 cameras. The main camera on the phone is a 6.7 MegaPixel Carl Zeiss optics with autofocus camera with an LED flash to round it off. The camera sensor is 1/3.4” sensor size with geo-tagging, face detection and panorama view. The quality of the pictures and video is very good. The video runs at 1080p@30fps and the secondary camera is a 5MegaPixel camera.
The Nokia 735 is powered by Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and a GPU being the Adreno 305. There is also GPS and an Accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
