Hard ResetIf you wish to hard reset LG G3 D855 then you will need to follow the following instructions which are standard on this range of LG mobile phones. Note that there are two options when doing a hard reset on the LG G3 D855. There is the manual way of doing this and also the software process to do a factory reset. You do this at your own risk as it deletes all your settings.

Before you start the reset process you would be better off making a backup of your mobile phone first. Once the data has been deleted you cannot recover these settings again. Always ensure that you have either backed up the data or copied the settings down with pen and paper. This includes your APN as well as internet settings as these will also be removed during the process. The factory process deletes all your add on programs as well which did not come with the phone.

Factory reset via Menu

  1. Always ensure that your battery is full;
  2. Start the backup process of your data;
  3. Turn Off the LG G3 D855
  4. Press And Hold in the two buttons;
  5. Volume Down + Power Key
  6. The LG logo will now come on;
  7. Once this occurs release the Power key then press the Power key again
  8. You now have to use the Volume keys to navigate through YES or NO options;
  9. Press the Power button each time to confirm your option;
  10. You have to use the Volume key to reselect or change the options;
  11. Press the Power button to confirm;
  12. The hard reset will now begin.

Factory reset via Buttons

  1. Ensure that the phone is charged;
  2. Turn on the phone and use the menu;
  3. Setting > Backup and reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device
  4. Remove your SDcard if you have one;
  5. Select Erase Everything;
  6. The hard reset will now begin;
  7. It takes a few minutes to complete.
