Hard Reset of LG G4 H815

Hard ResetThis is the hard reset of LG G4 H815 phone. The factory reset of the LG G4 H815 or hard reset can be done either manually by pressing buttons or by software by doing the hard reset via the menu. You will note that when you do a reset much like other LG phones you will not be able to recover the data or files again once the reset had been done. Note that this is done at your own risk. Factory reset via Menu

  1. Always ensure that your battery is full;
  2. Start the backup process of your data;
  3. Turn Off the LG G4 H815
  4. Press And Hold in the two buttons;
  5. Volume Down + Power Key
  6. The LG logo will now come on;
  7. Once this occurs release the Power key then press the Power key again
  8. You now have to use the Volume keys to navigate through YES or NO options;
  9. Press the Power button each time to confirm your option;
  10. Likewise you have to use the Volume key to reselect or change the options;
  11. Press the Power button to confirm;
  12. The hard reset will now begin.

Factory reset via Buttons

  1. Ensure that the phone is charged;
  2. Turn on the phone and use the menu;
  3. Setting > Backup and reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device
  4. Remove your SDcard if you have one;
  5. Select Erase Everything;
  6. Likewise the hard reset will now begin;
  7. It takes a few minutes to complete.

To perform a factory reset via the menu on your LG G4 H815, ensure that your battery is fully charged and initiate the backup process for your data. Follow these steps: First, turn off the LG G4 H815. Then, press and hold the Volume Down + Power Key buttons simultaneously until the LG logo appears. See also the Hard Reset Sony Xperia E1 as well.

Once the logo appears, release the Power key, and then press it again. Use the Volume keys to navigate through the options, selecting “YES” or “NO”. Press the Power button to confirm your selection each time. If you need to reselect or change the options, use the Volume key and press the Power button to confirm. To perform a factory reset via buttons on your phone, ensure that your device is sufficiently charged. Follow these steps: First, turn on the phone and access the menu by going to Settings > Backup and reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device. If you have an SD card inserted, remove it before proceeding. Next, select “Erase Everything”. The hard reset process will commence, which may take a few minutes to complete.
