This is the factory reset Sony Xperia Z3 Dual process. The hard reset for the Sony Xperia Z3 Dual is unlike other mobile phone resets. The reset is a bit unique as it is not as straight forward was the hard reset for the Xperia E3 or the hard reset for the Xperia Z4. You will see the details below on how to reset the Z3 Dual mobile phone. Note that doing a reset will wipe the phone and you will not be able to recover the lost data.

Soft Reset Sony Xperia Z3 Dual
 | - Make sure the battery is fully charged;
- Open the cover of the micro sim card slot
- Use a small tip of a pen or similar device to press and hold on that Yellow button for 3-5 seconds.
- You will see your Sony Xperia Z3 Dual shuts down and starts the soft reset itself.

Hard Reset Sony Xperia Z3 Dual
 | - Switch off your Sony Xperia Z3 Dual
- Now hold down the Volume Up and Volume Down button for a couple of seconds.
- While holding these buttons press the Power button for a moment.
- Release all keys when you see an Android Logo on screen.
- Then press the Camera button to enter Recovery Mode.
- Choose “wipe data/factory reset” by using Volume Down to navigate and Power button to confirm.
- Select “Yes–delete all user data“. Use Volume buttons button to scroll and Power key to select.
- To restart the phone, select “reboot system now“.
- The hard reset is done!

Hard Reset Sony Xperia Z3 Dual with the Menu
| - Turn on your Sony Xperia Z3 Dual;
- Make sure Sony Xperia Z3 Dual battery is full;
- Go to menu: Setting > Backup and reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device
- Choose Erase Everything
- Sony Xperia Z3 Dual will reset to factory default.
