The GSM APN for the Reliance network has been added below which will give you access to 2G/3G as well as to GPRS. You can also obtain this by sending an SMS ALL to 55100. Note that there is also CDMA access from Reliance in India which has been added Reliance cdma.

*Use “rcomnet” for the following circles: Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, J&K, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu (including Chennai), UP(E), UP(W)
*Use “smartnet” for the following circles: Assam, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Kolkatta, Madhya Pradesh, North-East, Orissa, West Bengal. See also the Tata cdma mobile phones as well.
Depending on your location in India, you will need to use different settings for the Reliance GSM network.
If you are in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, J&K, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu (including Chennai), UP(E), or UP(W), you should use “rcomnet” as your APN.
On the other hand, if you are in Assam, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, North-East, Orissa, or West Bengal, you should use “smartnet” as your APN.
The general settings for the Reliance GSM network are as follows: The operator is Reliance GSM. The APN is either “rcomnet” or “smartnet”, depending on your location. The access number is #777. Both the username and password fields should be left blank. The authentication type is none. The proxy should be disabled, and both the proxy address and port fields should be left blank. The data bearer is GPRS/PACKET DATA. Both DNS1 and DNS2 fields should also be left blank.
