These are some of the basic settings for the Samsung Galaxy A3 mobile phone which you will find below. Enter your MMS settings manually:


1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Settings.
3.	Scroll down and tap More networks.
4.	Tap Mobile networks.
5.	Tap Access Point Names.
6.	Tap the APN profile you’d like to check.

1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Settings.
3.	Scroll down and tap More networks.

Set the time and Date manually


1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Settings.
3.	Scroll down and tap Date and time.
4.	Tap Set date.
5.	Using the up and down arrows, set the date you require and then tap the Set button.
6.	Tap Set time.
7.	Using the up and down arrows, set the time you require and then tap the Set button.

Change the network connection mode


1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Settings.
3.	Scroll down and tap More networks.
4.	Tap Mobile networks.
5.	Tap Network mode.
6.	Choose the network mode you’d like.

Note that there are 3 connection modes for the Galaxy A3 mobile phone. These are as follows:

LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) 4G if available.
WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) 3G if available.
WCDMA Only 3G only.

Switch the data mode off when roaming internationally:

	Select each step to use the device simulator.
1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Settings.
3.	Tap Data Usage.
4.	Tap menu.
5.	If the menu item Data roaming has a tick next to it, this shows it is turned on. Tap the menu item – to turn data roaming off.

Enable or disable Bluetooth

	Select each step to use the device simulator.
1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Settings.
3.	Tap Bluetooth.
4.	Tap the Bluetooth switch to turn Bluetooth on or off.

Copy contacts from device or SIM

	Select each step to use the device simulator.
	To copy contacts from the SIM to the device:
1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Contacts.
3.	Tap menu.
4.	Tap Settings.
5.	Tap Contacts.
6.	Tap Import/export contacts.
7.	Tap Import from SIM card.
8.	Tap Device.
9.	Tap each contact you would like to copy.
10.	When you are happy, tap the Done button.
	Steps complete
	To copy contacts from the device to the SIM:
1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Contacts.
3.	Tap menu.
4.	Tap Settings.
5.	Tap Contacts.
6.	Tap Import/export contacts.
7.	Tap Export to SIM card.
8.	Tap each contact you would like to copy.
9.	When you are happy, tap the Done button.

Enable or disable predictive text


1.	From the home screen tap Apps.
2.	Tap Settings.
3.	Scroll down and tap Language and input.
4.	Tap the settings button on the menu item. (Samsung Keyboard).
5.	Tap Predictive text.
6.	Tap the switch to turn it On/Off.
