Nokia Lumia 625 Manual

The Nokia 625 is a much cheaper mobile phone than the Nokia Lumia 1520 but it is a good middle of the road phone in terms of cost. The mobile phone has a number of options which you would appreciate and we have listed some of these features below.

The Nokia Lumia 625 support all networks from 2G, 3G and also 4G networks. The mobile phone is still very new and was only released in July 2013. With an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen using 16M colors the screen is the same as most used in the Lumia range. It is however covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 Nokia Lumia 625which is good and much better than the normal scratch resistant glass. It does come with the usual ringtones but unlike most it does with a – Dolby headphone sound enhancement which is something new being added to the Lumia range of phones.

In terms of memory the 8 GB, 512 MB RAM is more than enough for most uses of the phone. The camera on the phone would make the 8GB of storage good as it a 5 MegaPixel camera running at 2592х1936 pixels with autofocus. Video recording is very good coming in at 1080p@30fps. There is also a secondary camera but like all mobile phones the secondary camera does not come close to the main camera in terms of video quality.

The Lumia 625 run the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 which is upgradeable to WP8 Amber and is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon chipset and uses a dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait processor and a Adreno 305 GPU. It also comes with a accelerometer and proximity sensor but no compass however in this price range you normally do not get that. Yes, it comes with A-GPS support and also supports GLONASS.

There is no Java on the phone and also not that you can surf the internet using HTML5 and it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and also Wi-Fi hotspot support. There is Class B GPRS and also Class B EDGE. The speed is excellent and comes in with HSDPA at 42.2 Mbps and HSUPA at 5.76 Mbps.

Battery life is good at 90 hours for music play, 24 hours in talk time and best of all 552 hours (3 weeks) in standby mode. The battery is light and is a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery. All in all a great phone at a low price compared to what others are offering.
