Released in July 2013 the Nokia Lumia 1020 has been one of the top end mobile phones released by Nokia during this year. The phone is very expensive but when you look at the specs and the sleek Lumia look then you don’t need to wonder why this mobile phone will last you way into the future.

The camera on this mobile phone is high end. The Lumia 1020 comes with a Carl Zeiss 41 MegaPixel (38 MP effective at 7152 x 5368 pixels). The Carl Zeiss optics with optical image stabilization and also the option of auto/manual focus coupled with the Xenon & LED flash is what makes this mobile phone very expensive. The hardware is highend and will last you a very long time. The camera has a large 1/1.5” senor which gives you clear bright video and pictures. Coming with geo-tagging, face detection, dual capture, panorama capture makes this mobile phone a must have if you wish to invest in a phone which will not be upgraded for years into the future. The phone runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 which is upgradeable to WP8 Amber. The hardware is also second to none. Powered by a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset and a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and a Adreno 225 GPU processor.

Its comes with HTML5 browser ability and accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer sensors. Yes there is also A-GPS support and GLONASS support. With a talktime of 19 hours and a standby time of 16 days if makes a phone you will enjoy for many years to come.
