The Exynos 9 Series (9810) is a lower version of the Exynos 9 Series (9820) specs which is also on this website. You will note the comparison listed below between the two CPU’s from Samsung. The Exynos 9 Series (9810) uses the older 10nm process which does use a bit more energy and is not as efficient as the newer model.
Exynos 9 Series (9810) Specs
The 9810 comes with a clock speed of up to 2.9GHz and it is a 3rd generation custom CPU . The CPU is much better than the older generations as it is more efficient than a single core CPU. Like many of the other CPU’s which are multi-core they tend to be very power efficient as it will only use all the cores when needed other times running on lower spec cores in the CPU. Multi-core processors have on average twice the performance and 40 better processing ability.
This processor comes with four Cortex-A55 for efficiency which is excellent for multi-tasking and even though it uses a 2nd generation manufacturing process the CPU is till excellent for both video and photos. Unlike the next generation this CPU includes and embedded LTE modem with downlink and uplink speeds of up to 1.2Gbps and 200Mbps respectively. The CPU also comes with embedded modem supports 4×4 MIMO which is excellent for your WiFi as well as an excellent video processing ability which allows for 4K UHD video recording and playback with frame rates up to 120fps.
Much like the processor which was developed after this the current 9810 has a dual-ISP (Image Signal Processor) which allows for 4 sensors running at one time allowing you to record on both cameras on the your phone a the same time. Note that there is a ARM Mali-G72 GPU which is 20% more powerful than its predecessor. The GPU was optimised for machine learning and high fidelity mobile gaming.
