The ZTE Axon 7 GSM has a 5.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels which is a WQHD AMOLED screen. The ZTE Axon 7 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 which is a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor. The ZTE Axon 7 comes with a 20-megapixel rear camera which a dual-LED flash. There is also an 8-megapixel camera that is front-facing at the front. The rear camera comes with AF (autofocus), OIS (optical image stabilizer), PDAF (autofocus), and an aperture with F1.8. The front-facing camera comes with FF (full-frame) as well as an aperture of F2.2.

The ZTE Axon 7 comes with WiFi as well as with GPS and Bluetooth version 4.2. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack however there is no FM radio or WiFi direct. The phone is a dual SIM mobile phone and the two slots are not the same. They both use a nano-SIM however there is no 4G on SIM 1 but only on SIM 2.
