Lumia 630 Internet connection

If you wish to connect to the internet with your Nokia Lumia 630 then you have two options. The first is the WiFi connections which are normally cheap by connecting to your home WiFi. The other option is to connect your phone to the internet via your mobile phone provider. You can also look at the user manual on this website.

Nokia Lumia 630 – WiFi settings

1. On the start screen, swipe down from the top of the screen;

2. Now tap  .

3. Switch Wi-Fi networking to On. 

4. Select the connection you want to use.

Nokia Lumia 630 – Mobile network settings

1. On the start screen, swipe down from the top of the screen;

2. Tap ALL SETTINGS > cellular+SIM; and

3. Switch Data connection to on 

Nokia Lumia 630 – VPN settings

1. On the start screen you must swipe down from the top of the screen;

2. Tap ALL SETTINGS > VPN, and switch Status to On 

3. To add a VPN profile, tap ;

4. Switch Connect automatically to On;

5. Write the profile info as instructed by your company.

Nokia Lumia 630 – Mobile network settings (Enable/Disable Roaming)

On the start screen, swipe down from the top of the screen;

Tap ALL SETTINGS > cellular+SIM, and

Switch Data roaming options to roam

These are the settings for the Lumia 630 internet settings. Note that roaming can be costly if you travel abroad. It is best to disable it so that the software on your phone does not automatically update pushing your cost sky high.
