Nokia 225 Internet Settings

mobile phone settingsThe Nokia 225 mobile phone has many settings and this is how to setup the internet on the mobile phone. You can also find the user manual for the mobile phone listed here. Note that the Nokia 225 only had WAP when it was released.

Now you will need to setup you mobile phone for MMS and this is done by removing the current settings which the phone might have. You will need to find the APN settings.

Data Settings

APN: test.com
Username:         test
Password: {Leave Blank}
Proxy: {Leave Blank}
MCC: 234
MNC: 10

Make sure not to confuse “proxy” and “MMS proxy”. The first one must be left blank and the value for MMS Proxy is

APN: test.com
Username: test
Password: {Leave Blank}
Server: http://mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMSC: http://mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMS Proxy:
MMS Port: 8080
MCC 234
MNC: 10
APN Type: mms


You will need to contact your mobile network provider for the APN settings for their network. The above is only an example of what needs to be changed and what needs to be left alone. If you are using WAP then the following also needs to be added:

  • Internet Proxy:
  • Internet Port: 8080

Common Problems:

If you cannot connect to the internet then check the proxy and port settings.
