If you’re using a 2G/3G/GPRS phone on the BSNL network in India, the following APN settings are applicable. Note that these settings may vary based on the region.

The regions covered include:

  • North Zone: Haryana, Punjab, UP(East), UP(West), Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir
  • East Zone: Jharkhand, Bihar, Kolkata, West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, North East, Adman Nicobar
  • West Zone: Maharashtra, Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, Chattishgarh
  • South Zone: Karnatka, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala

 

For the BSNL APN settings, the operator should be set to ‘BSNL’. The APN for GPRS should be ‘bsnlnet’, and for WAP, it should be ‘bsnlnet’. The Access Number should be ‘99#’ or ’99*1#’. Both the username and password fields should be left blank. The Authentication Type should be set to ‘normal’.

Proxy should be enabled, with the Proxy address set to ‘10.220.67.131’. The Port should be set to ‘9201’ for Wap 1.0 devices and ‘8080’ for Wap 2.0 devices.

Remember, these settings are specific to BSNL and may vary for other network providers. Always check with your service provider for the most accurate information.
