The LG Tribute 2 was released in July 2015 and unlike the flat screen phone LG is so well known for the LG Tribute 2 actually has a smooth concave screen. The phone is really beautiful in design. Now if only they can work on a more sleek menu system then the phone would really be on the top of the heap considering the price range it is in being the €90 price range.
The phone is light coming in at 138.9 g with a micro-Sim card. Much like the LG L65 is comes with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. For a sub €100 mobile phone this is good.
The operating system is the Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop) and this is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 with a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 which has an Adreno 306 GPU for its graphics. There is also a memory slot for a microSD, up to 32 GB as well as 8 GB space with 1 GB RAM. The camera on the phone is not too bad being a 5 MP camera with 2592 х 1944 pixels and an LED flash. The video runs at a respectable 1080p and the secondary camera is a budget VGA camera. It also comes with the standard loudspeaker as well as a 3.5mm jack.
Connectivity comes with a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot. The Bluetooth is the Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and LE. There is no Glonass on the phone and it only has A-GPS. The phone has no radio and comes with microUSB v2.0. There is also a Accelerometer and proximity sensor and is powered by a Li-Ion 1900 mAh battery.
Overall the LG Tribute 2 is a budget phone with a good sleek design with 16 hours of talk time.
