For instance, if your friend’s voice is too loud or too slow, you can adjust the volume by pressing the volume keys. If you want to copy and paste a phone number, simply long-press the phone number, select “copy,” and in a text box, press. To call the last dialed number, follow these steps. In the call history view, where you can find information about calls made and received, go to the home screen and tap . Next, tap on the side of the name or phone number.

Conference Calls

  1. Initiate a call with the first participant.
  2. To add another person, press  and make the call as usual.

To include another individual in the call, tap  , call the additional participant, and tap  .

If you wish to have a private conversation with a participant, tap and select the name or phone number. The conference call will be placed on hold on your phone, while the other participants continue in the conference call.

Forward calls to another number

Forwarding calls to another number is a handy feature when you can’t answer every call but don’t want to miss any. Here’s how you can set up call forwarding:

  • Press > > Call Settings.
  • Toggle Call Forwarding to Enabled.
  • Enter the phone number in the Forward calls to box and press Save.

Tip: To check if call forwarding is in use, indicated by , tap the top of the screen.

You can also forward calls to voicemail in addition to redirecting them to another phone number, allowing you to listen to messages later.

  • Press > > Call Settings

To redirect calls to voicemail, in addition to forwarding calls to another phone number, you can also forward them to the voicemail and listen to them later. Firstly, press >> call settings.

Enter your voicemail number in the Voicemail Number box. To obtain the default voicemail number, contact your service provider. Next, enable Call Forwarding and enter the voicemail number in the Forward Calls to box.

Bring your friends along with you. Save their phone numbers, addresses, and other information in the Contacts Hub.

Wi-Fi Connections

The phone periodically checks and notifies you about available Wi-Fi connections. The notification briefly appears at the top of the screen. To manage your Wi-Fi connections, select the notification.

On the home screen, swipe left and tap Settings > Wi-Fi.

Important: Use encryption to enhance the security of your Wi-Fi connection. Using encryption reduces the risk of others accessing your data.

 

Wi-Fi positioning improves position accuracy when satellite signals are unavailable, especially indoors or among tall buildings. You can also disable Wi-Fi in the phone settings.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

Connecting to a Wi-Fi network is a convenient way to access the Internet. When on the move, you can connect to Wi-Fi networks in public places such as libraries or cybercafés.

Linked devices can connect to the phone when Bluetooth is enabled. Other devices can detect the phone only if the Bluetooth settings view is open. Connecting to a Wireless Headset

With a wireless headset (available separately), you can talk on the phone hands-free while continuing with tasks such as working on the computer during a call.

  1. On the home screen, swipe left and tap Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Switch Status to On.
  3. Make sure the headset is turned on.

You may need to initiate the pairing process from the headset. 

  1. To pair the phone and the headset, tap the headset in the list.

Sending Content with Bluetooth

Want to share your content or send photos you took to a friend? You can use Bluetooth to wirelessly send your photos or content to compatible devices or your computer. You can send JPG, BMP, GIF, and PNG images.

If your phone does not have the Bluetooth Share app, you can download it from the Marketplace. The Bluetooth Share app may not be available in all regions or for all software versions.

  1. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on both phones.
  2. On the home screen, swipe left and tap Bluetooth Share > Share.
  3. Swipe left to view recently received photos and files.
  4. If not linked to another phone, tap You can’t use this feature yet. You must first connect with the other phone.
  5. Select the desired device from the RECENTS list. Tip: Tap Others if there are no recent devices.
  6. Tap images or files, select the content you want to send, and tap Share via Bluetooth.
